What’s In a Name?

Why we rebranded.

As our business evolves and grows we decided to take some time to evaluate where we’ve been, where we are, and who we are becoming. As a result of  lots of discussions and strategy sessions we decided to create two separate entities under one roof to best serve  both of our  goals and vision. While we share much of the same approach, philosophies, and strategies to serve our clients, there are some unique differences — and that’s why Forge Financial, and Guyton-Forge emerged. We are still father and son duo, Joe and Andrew Guyton, working out of the same office at One NH Avenue on the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, New Hampshire –  we’re just doing it under separate names. You can think of us as two sides of a coin, and our clients benefit from the combined expertise of both Joe and Andrew.

These days, for Joe it’s all about Business Exit Planning and Retirement Income Planning – where he has carved out a unique niche on the New Hampshire Seacoast and has demonstrated proven results in both areas of expertise. Joe is passionate about family-owned businesses and has a thorough understanding of the many complexities that go along with designing and executing a successful exit strategy. With more and more baby boomers reaching retirement age, this is a service that is highly sought after and Joe is here to help. Joe is also well-versed in retirement income planning to help you ensure that you have the kind of retirement you dream of.

Andrew, on the other hand, really enjoys working with individuals, families and business owners who are somewhat new to the scene of financial planning and want to lay the foundation for the kind of future they envision. For Andrew, there is tremendous satisfaction in helping his clients establish a clear understanding of how to manage their money and how to develop healthy financial habits that will serve them for years to come. Andrew loves creating lasting relationships with his clients and is grateful for the opportunity to work with his clients from the beginning and to contribute to their security and peace of mind.

Whether you work with Joe and the Guyton Group, or Andrew and his team at Forge Financial, we are here to provide the kind of dedicated and personal service to help you reach your financial goals. We are here to help you Plan Strategically. Live Abundantly. And, Celebrate your Victories every step of the way.
