We’re extremely pleased and honored that the Guyton Forge team won some of the most prestigious industry awards for our exemplary service and knowledge. This year, our award wins have included:
- Forbes Top Financial Security Professionals In NH — Forbes released its fourth annual list of America’s Top Financial Security Professionals, naming Joseph Guyton, Owner of The Guyton Group, as the best financial security professional in New Hampshire. His son and colleague, Andrew Guyton, Founder of Forge Financial, was ranked number three on the prestigious list. The prominent Forbes list honors financial security professionals in each state who have proven track records of preserving their clients’ wealth over the long-term. Joe and Andrew were recognized by Forbes as professionals that clients can depend on for their financial needs, across the continuum, from saving for their first house to paying for their children’s college education, and saving for retirement. Together, they specialize in financial planning, business exit strategy, retirement income planning, estate planning, and wealth accumulation strategies.
- Five Star Wealth Manager Award — Joe and Andrew have each earned the prestigious designation of Five Star Wealth Manager once again this year. To earn the Five Star Wealth Manager award, wealth managers must demonstrate that they provide the highest-quality services to their clients. Factors considered include assets under management and client retention rate, and candidates undergo a thorough regulatory and compliance review.
- President’s Council Qualifier — Additionally, Joe and Andrew have each (repeatedly!) earned the prominent designation of President’s Council Qualifier, an industry award for financial professionals that provide exceptional customer service and nurture long-term client relationships.
Our experts were also in the news quite a bit this year, including New Hampshire Business Review, which ran Joe’s articles on topics like redefining retirement, continuity planning/multi-gen family businesses, and 10 important questions to ask before you retire.
The Portsmouth Herald spotlighted our awards, including Joe winning the 5-Star Award, as well as Joe and Andrew winning the President’s Council award.
Joe was also a frequent guest on Binnie Media’s radio show, Living Abundantly,where he discussed an array of topics, including redefining retirement, business continuity planning, succession planning, and more.
We were thrilled to make national news this year! When US News & World Reportneeded a financial expert to talk about saving for retirement, they interviewed Joe and quoted him in this article. The Street ran Joe’s article on Retirement Planning vs. Retirement Income Planning, and Yahoo! Finance picked up Joe’s article from The Street. Additionally, after the Portsmouth Patch ran an article about Joe’s 5 Star award win, MSN.com picked up the story!
